Service description
IPR Strategy Consultation is an individualised intellectual property service supporting EIC beneficiaries in developing an intellectual property strategy aligned with their technology, business model and commercial objectives.
The service begins with an assessment of the beneficiary’s innovation, business activities, existing intellectual property, target markets and future commercial plans. Based on the beneficiary’s specific situation, IP experts identify relevant intellectual property considerations and discuss appropriate approaches for protecting and managing patents, trademarks, designs, copyrights, trade secrets and other relevant intellectual property assets.
The consultation can address topics such as identifying protectable intellectual property, selecting appropriate forms of protection, timing and geographical scope of protection, ownership and management of IP assets, and aligning intellectual property decisions with product development, market entry, partnerships and other commercial activities.
The scope and duration of the service are tailored to the beneficiary’s needs and the complexity of its intellectual property portfolio and business activities. The service may consist of one or several consultation sessions and, where appropriate, a review of relevant background materials.
As an outcome, the beneficiary receives practical recommendations and a clearer framework for prioritising intellectual property activities and making informed decisions regarding the protection and management of its intellectual property. Where appropriate, the consultation can identify recommended next steps for further IP protection, investigation or analysis.
The service is provided on demand and is continuously available to EIC beneficiaries.
All services provided by Moosedog Oy are subject to Moosedog Oy’s General Terms and Conditions. The beneficiary is responsible for providing accurate and timely information and instructions and for observing applicable deadlines. Moosedog Oy’s liability is limited to verified direct damages up to a maximum of EUR 250,000 and excludes indirect damages. Finnish law applies. By accepting Moosedog Oy’s quotation, the beneficiary accepts the applicable General Terms and Conditions.
