Service ID:
EP135S1This service entails an industrial acceleration at the Space Business Catalyst by Thales Alenia Space and its ecosystem. This acceleration programme offers a unique mix of resources and expertise to foster rapid industrial development with a key player in the space sector. The programme lasts six months and takes place onsite in Thales Alenia Space premises of Toulouse, France and Turin, Italy, with in-house coaches and mentors dedicated to each startup. The programme aims to define with EIC beneficiaries aiming at an ambitious and sustainable future of what space will look like tomorrow, and jointly emerge new markets and technologies through business collaborations. Fully tailored, the programme starts with the exploration and identification of areas of shared interest. It then focuses on generating the maximum return on investment for everybody with concrete outcomes such as bids, projects, solution validation, business strategy and so on. EIC beneficiaries, along with other space startups and Thales Alenia Space intrapreneurial projects, gain access to in-house technical experts for privileged exchanges and reviews, as well as in-house cutting-edge prototyping facilities. Thales Alenia Space commercial network also helps EIC beneficiaries with invaluable go-to-market to develop business together while Thales Alenia Space provides outreach to its ecosystem including institutions and investors to boost EIC beneficiaries' journey. Eventually, the programme offers the possibility of funding projects, but also forming partnerships including investment from Thales Corporate Ventures.
The programme is free of charge except for the costs incurred during the acceleration service due to the physical presence of the startup’s team required either in Toulouse or Turin. This also includes the use of the assembly, integration, and testing tools, the support of full-time experts and space software building blocks available to help fast-track to operations. Selected applicants may join at any point in time.
Services can be provided either in Toulouse, France, or Turin, Italy.
