Service description

Unknown Campus’ energy hub pilot package gives EIC Transition and EIC Accelerator startups a fast route to real world validation in the Hague providing access to its 13,000 sqm campus as a test location for smart metering, energy management, storage, and building energy systems, plus dedicated staff to integrate your solution safely into live operations. Typical service duration is between 3 months and 12 months, depending on installation complexity and permitting. The goal is to help beneficiaries validate technical performance, integration feasibility, and operational fit of their technologies in the live operations of an emerging energy district. Delivery follows three phases: (1) scoping and design, including site assessment, pilot plan, KPI definition, and a measurement and verification approach; (2) installation and integration, including compliance onboarding, HSE procedures, and coordination with facilities and contractors; (3) pilot operation and evaluation, including secure data access, weekly performance reviews, and issue resolution. Support is provided by an in-house pilot lead, with outsourced certified specialists engaged when required (e.g., safety, electrical inspections). The expected outcome is a pilot report with KPI results, baseline comparison, lessons learned, and a scale-up roadmap suitable for EIC evidence needs.
