Scale-Up Acceleration Programme for Deep-Tech & Biotech Innovators

Service description

This service is a six-month cohort-based scale-up acceleration programme designed for EIC Accelerator beneficiaries aiming to structure their organisation, scale operations and prepare for sustained growth in complex, regulated or capital-intensive markets, including biotech and life sciences. The programme starts with a structured diagnostic assessing business model robustness, organisational maturity, operational readiness, regulatory constraints and financial structure. Based on this assessment, beneficiaries follow a guided acceleration journey combining individual coaching, peer learning sessions and expert workshops. Key topics include scale-up strategy, organisational structuring, KPI definition, operational processes, regulatory and market access considerations, internationalisation and preparation for advanced fundraising rounds. Particular emphasis is placed on aligning technological maturity with commercial traction, industrialisation or clinical validation requirements. Throughout the programme, beneficiaries benefit from milestone-based reviews and continuous feedback. The programme concludes with a scale-up review session where participants present their growth roadmap, key metrics and funding strategy to experienced entrepreneurs and ecosystem experts. At the end of the programme, beneficiaries obtain a validated and investor-ready scale-up plan, a strengthened management structure and increased readiness for international expansion. The programme is delivered by experienced entrepreneurs, business coaches and external experts and can be implemented in a hybrid format.

Financial requirements

With costs - scope-dependent pricing defined per beneficiary. Eligible for EIC ACCESS+ co-funding (up to 50% of eligible costs, maximum €60,000).
