Service description

This acceleration service is directed to EIC Transition beneficiaries (TRL 4-6) aiming to bridge the gap between ideation and market-ready products. The goal is to guide startups through prototyping, certification, and industrialization while ensuring quality and intellectual property protection. The program consists of three critical phases. First, beneficiaries focus on Prototyping, where experts facilitate due diligence, hardware/software integration, and sustainability assessments to prepare for the first short series. Second, the service addresses Industrialization, utilizing Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to create accurate Bills of Materials (BOM), manufacturing plans, and scalable supply chain strategies. Finally, mentors guide startups through Certification & IP Protection, navigating CE marking requirements and developing a robust strategy to defend intellectual property. By the end of the service, beneficiaries will possess tangible assets including an updated BOM, a comprehensive Manufacturing Plan, and Certification/IP strategies, potentially leading to new Industrial Partner agreements. This support is provided by dedicated experts and can be delivered online, hybrid, or offline (Barcelona or Helsinki). The program spans 30 hours distributed between 3 months and 1 year.

S2Xpeed can deliver the services in an offline mode (in Barcelona or Helsinki), online or hybrid mode.
