Startup Leiria's Incubation Program is designed to take founders from the first spark of an idea to sustainable growth—and to keep supporting them after they graduate too. It combines structured business guidance with practical infrastructure, offered in both physical and virtual formats, so teams can choose the level of presence and support that best fits their stage. For early-stage projects, incubation starts with hands-on support to clarify the idea, test assumptions, and validate a proof of concept, followed by help developing a business plan and setting up the company. As startups progress, they gain access to a broader support package: optional pre-negotiated launch services, guidance to define strategy and measurable goals, mentoring from business and/or technical specialists, and the facilitation of regular networking initiatives. The program also helps ventures search for funding, gives access to training resources, studies and business databases, and supports team building. A major strength is ecosystem reach. Incubated companies can access services from other Portuguese incubators, connect with international incubators and soft-landing opportunities, and benefit from promotion in national and international markets. Startup Leiria Operationally, founders can work from shared co-working modules or dedicated offices, with access to common areas such as meeting rooms and lounges, plus shared equipment. Basic services typically include mail and parcel reception (including registered mail) and call-forwarding support. Instead of charging rent, Startup Leiria applies a monthly fee for incubation services and facilities (varying by modality and space), typically covering essentials such as furnished workspace, utilities, cleaning, security, and access to shared spaces
