This individualised service supports EIC Pathfinder, Transition and Accelerator beneficiaries (TRL 3-8) in assessing and strengthening the market acceptance potential of their innovation before scale-up and commercial deployment. It is directed to deep-tech start-ups, SMEs and research consortia operating in health, advanced manufacturing, digital technologies and sustainability sectors. The goal of the service is to reduce market uncertainty by evaluating user adoption drivers, stakeholder readiness, regulatory and organisational barriers, and perceived value proposition. The service is structured in four phases:
Phase 1: Context and Stakeholder Mapping: analysis of target markets, value chain actors and early adopters.
Phase 2: Acceptance Drivers & Barriers Assessment: structured interviews, surveys and/or co-design workshops with selected stakeholders to assess perceived usefulness, usability, integration effort and risk factors.
Phase 3: Gap Analysis & Readiness Alignment: identification of technological, organisational and regulatory gaps affecting adoption, with reference to Adoption, Societal Impact and Organisational Readiness dimensions.
Phase 4: Action Plan & Strategic Recommendations: definition of concrete measures to enhance technology uptake, including positioning, pilot strategies and partnership priorities.
Activities are delivered by senior innovation and technology transfer experts through a combination of online meetings, stakeholder engagement sessions and desk research. At completion, beneficiaries receive a structured Technology Acceptance Report including adoption risk mapping, readiness assessment and a prioritised roadmap to accelerate market uptake.
€600/day with an estimated days effort ranging from 10-20 depending on the number, type of iterations & stakeholders. Daily rates have been specially discounted for the EIC Beneficiaries.
