STEP 1 – DESIGN WORKSHOP: The workshop provides entrepreneurs with knowledge and repeatable tools to strategically incorporate sustainability in the business model (processes, products, supply-chain flows, and customer relationships). Therefore aligning sustainability actions and value proposition with an eye to profitability. The course begins with an assessment of the company's starting position and the bottom-up definition of its sustainable development goals (archetypes of sustainable business models they want to integrate). Relying on business model patterns, we define the “to-be” business model and the activities and resources that must be deployed to fit the business model archetype. The team and entrepreneurs then draft a synthetic operational plan of the steps to fully integrate the new business model into daily business processes. 

STEP 2 – IMPLEMENTATION CO-PILOT: The team provides ongoing support in the implementation of the operational plan (set up and facilitation of the project steering committee + “research-based second-opinion” on key decisions + progress tracking against plan). Expected duration: 3– 6 months. Fondazione REI can facilitate the contacts, on the Emilia Romagna territory, to validate intercompany assumptions throughout the service delivery.
