Service ID:
EP31S1An ongoing service for EIC Transition beneficiaries. The service is focused on EIC deep-tech ICT, especially on AI and Robotics for Environment and Energy. This service aims to offer access to state-of-the-art experimental facilities and knowledge such as cooperative robots, jigless robotic welding (arc welding, laser welding, friction stir welding), sensors, capabilities for automatized robotic cell development, offline path planning software, scanning and digitalisation systems based on artificial vision and laser scanning, data acquisition and analysis. The types of activities in the service include access to a test bed for entrepreneurs and early-stage companies to assess 360º vision technological assessment, technical and economic diagnostics, and viability assessment on welding technologies for product manufacturing and assembly processes. In addition, EIC beneficiaries can also get support on the conceptual design of robotic cells, simulation, system architecture, customised industrial solutions, prototyping, experimental validation, need for industrialisation, and robotic strategy development. Moreover, this service aims to provide access to knowledge and validation of the latest advancements, as well as access to new technological assets. The service contributes to the scalability of EIC beneficiaries’ solutions for further production and commercialisation, demonstrating them at a Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) of up to 7. The service will be implemented offline and/or hybrid, and the duration will be adapted to the needs of the EIC beneficiaries.
