This individualised coaching service supports EIC Pathfinder and Transition beneficiaries in translating scientific and technological results into credible market, exploitation and impact pathways. The service is designed for research teams, start-ups, SMEs and consortia developing deep-tech innovations at early to mid TRL levels. It is particularly relevant for beneficiaries that need to clarify the link between scientific results, user needs, market opportunities, stakeholder value, and long-term impact. The service is delivered over 4-8 weeks through a structured sequence of coaching sessions (1-2 per week). LGI’s in-house experts in science-to-market strategy, business modelling, impact strategy, exploitation planning and stakeholder engagement support the beneficiary team throughout the process. External sector experts may be involved where specific technical or market knowledge is required.
The service includes four phases. First, LGI analyses the technology, maturity level, potential applications, and current exploitation assumptions. Second, LGI maps relevant value chains, target users, stakeholders, market drivers, and competing solutions. Third, LGI works with the beneficiary team to refine the value proposition, exploitation route, business model options, and impact logic. Fourth, a dedicated Theory of Change and impact session is organized to connect scientific outcomes with measurable societal, environmental, or economic impact. Expected outcomes include prioritized market applications, value proposition, stakeholder and value chain mapping, exploitation pathways, impact logic, Theory of Change, and a structured science-to-market roadmap. The service is implemented through online or hybrid coaching sessions, desk analysis, and delivery of a final roadmap document.
Each project being unique, LGI adapts its intervention model to the maturity and needs of the EIC beneficiary. The service can be delivered through daily rates (€800–€1,200/day) or fixed packages ranging from €8,000 to €20,000 depending on scope, duration and sector-specific expertise required. Preferential conditions may be offered to EIC beneficiaries and Seal of Excellence holders.
This service focuses on science-to-market strategy, exploitation, stakeholder engagement, and impact structuring. The final scope and duration are adapted to the maturity of the technology, the beneficiary’s objectives, and the level of sector-specific expertise required.
