The service is typically delivered within 2 to 8 weeks, depending on scope and complexity, and is intended for start-ups, SMEs, spin-outs, scale-ups, and R&D-driven companies in sectors such as life sciences, engineering, medtech, chemistry, and high tech.
The service is delivered by AOMB's patent attorneys and IP specialists.
The service generally includes:
(1) intake and scoping, such as defining the product and jurisdictions;
(2) targeted patent searching;
(3) high-level or detailed assessment of relevant third-party rights (patents and patent applications); and
(4) reporting and follow-up discussion with recommendations (e.g., monitoring, design-arounds, licensing, or validity review).
The expected outcome is a clear overview of FTO risk and practical decision support for your company's IP strategy.
