Service description

Before entering a new market, launching a product, or closing an investment round, you need to know whether your technology infringes existing patents. Lightbringer's digital FTO (freedom-to-operate) service gives EIC Pathfinder and EIC Transition innovators a fast, structured, and cost-effective answer to that question.

Our process combines AI-assisted patent landscape analysis with expert review by qualified patent specialists. We identify patent families that could pose a risk to your freedom to operate in your target markets, assess claim scope, and deliver a clear, prioritised risk report without the six-figure price tag of a traditional law firm opinion.

This is not a legal opinion. It is an intelligence-grade FTO analysis purpose-built for startups and scale-ups that need to make informed commercial decisions quickly, whether for investor due diligence, partnership negotiations, or pre-launch risk assessment.

All work is delivered through Lightbringer's secure digital platform, with full traceability and easy sharing with your legal counsel or board.

Who this is for: EIC Pathfinder and EIC Transition grantees preparing to commercialise, raise capital, or enter regulated or competitive markets.  Delivery: Subscription-based, remote. Access is continuous throughout the subscription period.  Pricing: €3,000 per year, billed biannually.
