Service description
An ongoing service for access to funding and investment preparations targeting EIC Beneficiaries.
There are two sub-services within this service package (choose 1 at a time):
2A) Access to EIB Venture Debt:
Support is offered through the following, for beneficiaries to potentially avail the EIB’s Venture Debt –
- Initial Contact (dry run) for company with the EIB
- Support in Investment case building
- Support in addressing gaps: Documentation review, Mentoring support for application, Pitch & Interview Coaching
- Due Diligence preparation (to be used for and support EIB evaluations)
- Issuance of a Letter of Recommendation by EIT Manufacturing
- Support in the final negotiation process, as required

2B) Access to EIC STEP Scale Up:
Support is offered through the following, for beneficiaries to potentially avail the EIC’s STEP ScaleUp Instrument –
- Support in Investment case building
- Support in addressing gaps: Documentation review, Mentoring support for application, Pitch & Interview Coaching
- Due Diligence preparation (to be used for and support EIC-EIB evaluations)
- Support in the final negotiation process, as required

These services are offered by EIT Manufacturing personnel (points of contact) that are directly based in its Regional offices across Europe and/or its Headquarters. (Each regional office caters to specific geographies (countries that are

EIC Beneficiary applicants should note that under the usual circumstances, the support period is expected to last 2-12 months, depending on the needs of the startups and service requirement. Nevertheless, the period may be adjusted depending on the requirements of EIC Beneficiary applicants and the EIC Partner’s capacity at that moment in time, keeping in mind this Partnership Programme’s duration and timeline as well (e.g., the period will be reduced/increased). All service periods will be assessed on an individual basis.
