Climate-Tech Pre-Seed Investment Programme

Service description

A six-month coaching and investment service for pre-seed climate-tech EIC Transition and Accelerator beneficiaries. This service provides EIC beneficiaries with preferential access to pitching for investment from G-Force and participation in its Climate-Tech Pre-Seed Programme. The investment comprises a cash investment and an in-kind contribution of six-month long bespoke operational support (delivered by in-house experts from G-Force and their partner organisation, Founders Factory). This is a bespoke hands-on programme during which a team of 10-15 operators work closely with the EIC beneficiaries’ team members in the following support areas: Operations; Business Development; Strategic Development; Corporate Development; Growth; Brand, PR and Communications; Product and Design; Tech; Partnerships, Talent and Public Funding. The focus and weighing of these services will be adapted according to the specific needs and circumstances of each EIC beneficiary. The Service comprises three phases, an applicability assessment, the core Programme itself, and ongoing support and access to G-Force’s network and expertise. In Phase 1, each EIC beneficiary selected for this service will benefit from a free introductory investment readiness assessment and suitability for the programme. If selected, G-Force will invest in the EIC beneficiary and onboard the team onto the programme for Phases 2 and 3. If not, G-Force will provide feedback and suggest more relevant investors or milestones to be achieved in order to become investable. The service will be primarily implemented online, but in-person sessions are also possible. The service is only applicable for investment-ready EIC beneficiaries with deep-tech solutions for climate change.
