Designtech's Prototyping Area, within CoFactory, offers cutting-edge digital manufacturing services to transform concepts into tangible, sustainable products. The key focus is material research and qualification, supported by our material library, facilitating the selection of innovative and eco-friendly materials. The core activities include, i) Large Format & Performance-Driven 3D Printing for rapid prototyping and functional components. ii) Flexible CNC Machining for precise, adaptable manufacturing. iii) 3D Scanning & Quality Control to refine designs and ensure precision. iv) Large Format Robotic Arm for advanced automation. v) Sustainable Post-Production & Finishing to minimise waste and environmental impact. vi) Packaging & Assembly to streamline production efficiency. The specialised equipment include, Roboze Argo 500 & One+400 (High-precision 3D printers for super polymers and composites), CMS Evotech 400 & Kreator Ares (Hybrid additive manufacturing and milling solutions), and ABB IRB 6700 (A high-performance industrial robotic arm for automated processes). We offer specialised design services, including Design for Manufacturing, Computational Design, and Topological Optimisation, ensuring products are innovative, efficient, and optimised for sustainability. By integrating digital manufacturing, material innovation, and advanced design strategies, Designtech's Prototyping Area accelerates the development of high-impact solutions for startups, designers, and corporations, and fostering sustainable innovation in industrial design and manufacturing.
