This course equips scientists, researchers, and business professionals with essential industry science communication skills. Participants will learn to convey complex scientific ideas in a way that resonates with customers, investors, and key stakeholders. The course takes a multidisciplinary approach and covers translating academic language into accessible, persuasive narratives tailored to corporate environments. Participants will explore how to simplify jargon, align messages with business goals, and transform data into compelling stories. A key focus is the role of visuals in science communication. Attendees will learn to select the right tools, apply design principles, and strategically use visuals in presentations, reports, and marketing materials to enhance impact. The course also provides practical training on pitching scientific ideas or products to investors and stakeholders. Participants will craft persuasive narratives, highlight unique value propositions, and tailor messaging to different audiences. By the end, attendees will have a toolkit for effective corporate science communication, mastering clear messaging, impactful visuals, and persuasive pitching, ensuring their scientific work is understood, appreciated, and supported in business settings.

Financial requirements

The 2-day workshop price is €6300 excl. tax for a maximum of 30 attendees.
Enrolling more participants from the company will enhance the programme’s impact on the organisation. The price does cover online training costs. For in-person training, additional costs for travel and accommodation occur. Also, for in-person courses, the organisation booking this training is responsible for organising rooms, lunch, and coffee.
