This fundraising service for innovative early-stage startups has a two-fold: 1) to identify >200 relevant investors with recent deals in the startup’s sector and 2) reaching out to the right contacts with effective personalised messages. The duration of the service is typically around five months, up until all identified investors have been approached and responded. Targeted companies include early-stage healthtech, Life Science and deeptech companies raising a pre-seed, seed or series a round with typical ticket sizes between €250k and €5M. The goal of our service is to fulfil heavily time-consuming tasks on behalf of the CEO, leveraging Ensemblate’s experience to identify and approach investors efficiently, thereby improve response rates and increasing the number of investor meeting invititations.
Phases of the service include, 1) Research Phase: identifying >200 relevant investors through desk research and 2) Reach-Out Phase: writing personalised messages on behalf of the CEO or founder to relevant contacts from each investor. The expected outcomes are the initial investor list, followed by meeting invitations from positive, and ultimately one or more term sheets. The service will start with a formal kick-off (zoom or real-life) followed by (bi)weekly meetings to discuss action points and set deliverables for the next week.
Retainer fee: one-time fixed fee of €2500 (excluding VAT) payable prior to project start.Success fee: no-cure-no-pay fee (excluding VAT) payable once an investor introduced to Client through Ensemblate’s investor funnel, either directly or indirectly, has formally committed to invest in Client.
1. Amount invested: €10,000 - €999,999. Success fee: 5%. Cap: €20,000.
2. Amount invested: €1,000,000 – €2,000,000. Success fee: 2%. Cap: €30,000.
3. Amount invested: €2,000,000. Success fee: 1.5%. Cap: €40,000.
The activities will be executed by Ensemblate over a period of 6 months, starting once a service agreement has been signed by a new client.
