This comprehensive service encompasses all aspects related to patents. DT&P's attorneys and patents consultants offer direct assistance with Italian, EU, and international patents, and, through collaboration with a network of foreign correspondents, provide global coverage.
Services include: I) Prior art searches using national and international databases and advanced B2B tools to assess patentability, inventive step, and freedom to operate, with final legal and technical analysis. II) Risk analysis to identify third-party conflicts and evaluate market access, factoring in issues like lapsed patents or compulsory licences. III) Patent application filing in Italy, including full procedural support, post-filing management, and maintenance of rights. IV) Patent extension abroad within the priority period. V) International patent filings through EPC and PCT systems. VI) Patent management and exploitation, including strategic portfolio presentation, transactions, and valuation. VII) Enforcement and anti-counterfeiting, covering infringement monitoring, evidence collection, and litigation before patent offices and courts.
