Service description

IP Hills provides end-to-end support for protecting and managing inventions within the European Union and internationally. Services span from initial evaluation to prosecution, enforcement, and portfolio development. The process begins with patentability assessments based on targeted prior art searches, identifying existing patents or publications relevant to novelty and inventive step. These findings inform a drafting strategy aligned with both technical scope and commercial objectives. Patent applications are prepared and filed before the European Patent Office (EPO), national offices, or through international systems, with full representation throughout examination, opposition, and appeal stages. Post-filing, the service covers monitoring, fee management, and recordal of changes in ownership or legal status. Further support includes enforcement actions against infringement, freedom-to-operate analyses, portfolio audits, and advice on licencing or commercialisation. Coordination with trusted international partners ensures that EU-based strategies can be extended globally. By following a structured approach, IP Hills enables innovations to be secured, defended, and leveraged as valuable business assets.
