Service description

This individualised market access and ecosystem intelligence service supports EIC beneficiaries in assessing and entering specific European digital health markets. The service targets TRL 5-9 innovators operating in digital health, medtech and AI-driven healthcare solutions seeking structured country-level expansion. The goal is to provide a clear, evidence-based framework for market entry, positioning and partnership development. The service is structured in five phases:
Phase 1: Scoping & Positioning Alignment: clarification of the solution’s clinical domain, target users, regulatory status and business model.
Phase 2: Market & Competitive Intelligence: analysis of the national digital health landscape, key trends, structural characteristics and benchmarking of relevant competitors.
Phase 3: Ecosystem & Partnership Mapping: identification of hospitals, research centres, innovation hubs and strategic industry actors, including relevant ongoing projects.
Phase 4: Market Entry Barriers & Reimbursement Review: assessment of structural barriers, procurement logic and existing reimbursement or payment mechanisms.
Phase 5: Funding & Pilot Opportunities: overview of national and EU instruments supporting pilots and scale-up.
A web call is organised at the end of each phase to validate findings and ensure alignment with the beneficiary's strategic priorities. Expected outcomes include a comprehensive written report, competitor benchmarking matrix, curated partner shortlist and an executive strategic deck. A final 90-minute debrief session is provided online or, upon request, on-site at the beneficiary's premises.
