Startups secure a place at the world-class incubator at the Danish Technological Institute in Odense, Denmark, where they gain access to office space, cutting-edge equipment, and industry specialists. The Odense Robotics StartUp Fund and Incubator offers a specialised programme for early-stage robotics and drone startups, providing a dynamic environment tailored to hardware development. One of the few European incubators dedicated to hardware, it offers 3,000 square meters of prototyping and testing facilities. This allows startups to develop, refine, and test robotic solutions alongside experts and fellow innovators. The incubator fosters collaboration by placing startups near technology specialists, researchers, and industry leaders, creating valuable networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities. Accepted startups receive a dedicated 10-square-meter development space, two workstations with desks and chairs, and secure storage. High-speed Wi-Fi and LAN ensure seamless connectivity. Shared resources include 3D printers, office equipment, and a 25-square-meter project and meeting room. The programme accelerates hardware-based robotics startups from early development to market readiness. By leveraging cutting-edge resources, technical expertise, and a collaborative ecosystem, startups increase their chances of success in the competitive robotics industry.
The value of the incubation is provided as a loan to be repaid with interest on founder friendly terms.
