Fundació Privada Món Clínic Barcelona is a private, non-profit foundation with a deep connection with the Hospital Clínic of Barcelona, that was founded in December 2021 in Barcelona. Fundació Món Clínic has the aim to protect health and strengthen people’s health to improve quality of life of citizens and promote the progress of health professionals. Within Fundació Món Clínic there are different activity lines, including Barcelona Clinical Coordinating Center (BCCC). BCCC is an academic Contract Research Organisations (CRO) that provides support for clinical studies and research, with expertise with medical devices, medicinal products and others. BCCC has a multidisciplinary team, including monitoring, data management, biostatisticians, safety vigilance, stadistics and regulatory experts. BCCC also provides regulatory consulting services for medical devices, in-vitro diagnostics and medicinal products, with the aim to support companies and investigators navigate the complex regulatory landscape in Europe, which is essential for successful market entry, ongoing regulatory compliance and risk management. The Regulatory Consulting Services are addressed to investigators, startups, biotech, med-tech and pharma companies either developing a medical device, and in vitro diagnostics or a medicinal product.
