RISE – Research Institutes of Sweden – is Sweden’s national research institute and innovation partner. RISE support industry, academia, and the public sector in strengthening competitiveness and enabling the transition to a sustainable society. RISE supports startups and scale‐ups in addressing critical technical and scientific challenges related to product development, validation and certification, and scaling up. Through applied research, prototyping, proof‐of‐concept activities, and access to testbeds and demonstration environments, RISE helps increase technology readiness and reduce development risk. RISE conducts testing, certification, and calibration across a broad range of technical fields. With thousands of testing methods, extensive accreditation, and access to national/international standards, RISE provide independent and traceable quality assurance. Through more than 130 test and demonstration environments, RISE enables startups and scale-ups to accelerate development, enhance credibility with investors and partners, and move more rapidly towards market introduction.
