This coaching service supports EIC beneficiaries in advancing their technologies towards market readiness and EIC Accelerator-level maturity. It combines strategic technology scaling with hands-on entrepreneurial mentoring. The programme is built on Pi Space Solutions’ proven track record in the European innovation ecosystem. The founder has contributed to more than 10 EIC proposals, resulting in three funded projects (two Pathfinders and one Transition), with additional Transition and Accelerator submissions ongoing. This experience provides beneficiaries with rare, practice-based insights into aligning technology development with EIC expectations and funding pathways. The coaching includes: 1. TRL & Risk Mapping – structured analysis of technological gaps, maturity milestones, and regulatory requirements. 2. Innovation & Scale-Up Roadmaps – tailored guidance on how to position technologies for successful progression from Pathfinder/Transition to Accelerator or private funding. 3. Market & Financing Strategy – advice on blended finance, investor engagement, and dual-use positioning. 4. Pitch Simulation & Feedback – preparation of concise, impact-driven presentations for investors and stakeholders. Expected outcomes of the service are for EIC beneficiaries to acquire a clear advancement plan, improved communication with funders and investors, and stronger positioning for scale-up opportunities. Service delivery is hybrid (online and in-person workshops).
All three services are offered on a cost-sharing basis. For short coaching sessions and workshops, the indicative rate is €600 per day per beneficiary team. For access to the Digital Twin Mission Emulator or superconducting propulsion testbeds, laboratory use and expert support are charged at €1200 per day, depending on scope. For exploratory meetings or initial consultations, services may be offered free of charge.
The services described are available on a rolling basis from October 2025 onwards. Scheduling will be agreed directly with the EIC beneficiaries depending on project needs and resource availability. Access to physical testbeds is subject to laboratory scheduling and may require 4–6 weeks advance booking. Training workshops and coaching sessions can typically be arranged within 2–3 weeks. Pi Space Solutions reserves the right to adjust timelines in case of force majeure, partner facility availability, or coordination with ongoing EU-funded projects.
