Tailor-made acceleration programme for EIC Pathfinder and EIC Transition beneficiaries from the Health sector. To select the participants, a 1-to-1 call is needed between Plug and Play team and EIC beneficiary. The target group are early-to-mid-stage startups (TRL 1 – 6). The programme will be divided in 3 phases: 1 - Shape; 2-Build; 3 - Sell. The first phase will aim to provide the EIC beneficiaries with core knowledge regarding their product development and differentiation, network building, and business development. The startups will benefit from the extensive experience of Plug and Play’s network of mentors and advisors who will provide personalised advice and feedback to each participant. The second phase of the programme will address strategic topics such as pricing and revenues, marketing strategy, hiring and advisors onboarding. The participating startup will be offered personalised mentorship as well as a public pitching opportunity. Finally, the third phase will particularly focus on pitch deck polishing and improvement, dedicated sessions on how to pitch to investors and customers, and would be concluded by pitching opportunities to investors and corporations as well as by a demo-day during which the participating startup would be able to showcase their solution. Overall, during the acceleration programme, we also provide expert mentorship in the fields of investment roadmap and round support, business plan and pilot plan, sales capacity building, culture and mental health support, soft skills (i.e. empathy, leadership, diversity). The service may last from 3 months to a full year. This service will be provided exclusively in a virtual format.

Disclaimer related to service

The service will only be implemented if there is a minimum of 5 eligible EIC beneficiaries per cohort. EIC beneficiaries who are based in Italy and request acceleration services in the aerospace and defense sector may be automatically excluded, as their acceptance could conflict with pre-existing commercial relationships.

Financial requirements

€30000 per EIC beneficiary. This is indicative only, as the price may vary depending on the number of attendees and the duration of the programme.
