The Potsdam Science Park Academy (PSP Academy) comprises seminars, workshops, and business events offered to scientists, startups or company employees of the PSP, Berlin-Brandenburg area, the EIC beneficiaries from Pathfinder (TRL 1-4) and Transition (TRL 4-5/6) Programme interested in improving their soft skills, plan their future careers and founding their startup/company. The workshops are offered free of charge and held in English with a length of 4 hours. They are organised as in-person or online events depending on the topic and the expected audience. Topics may range from project and data management to strategic career planning, also topics that enable and enhance entrepreneurial thinking are included, such as: Discover your entrepreneurial potential, From research to market, Creation of academic spin-offs: transition from the academic sphere to the commercial sphere, From idea to prototype in half a day, PR for startups, Pitch training, Convince yourself with your startup idea!, Design thinking, Business model Canvas, Productive business meetings and …and many more.

Every year, the PSP Academy topics would be selected based on interests shown by scientists in the process of startup or spin-off founding. A survey conducted among the EIC beneficiaries from Pathfinder and Transition Programmes and, on the expertise of the StaGo knowledge-and-technology-transfer team will be used for sourcing. Many business events organised and promoted with the various network partners are also included in the PSP Academy and held at PSP or online. A dedicated website page, an event booklet, and biweekly newsletters will be created and shared with the EIC beneficiaries to promote the PSP Academy events.
