Service description

The Rooftop Pitch (RTP) Potsdam is the exclusive and unique annual event for networking and initiation of financing for innovative startups based in Brandenburg and Berlin. At the pitch event, startups pitch in front of venture capital investors and business angels in a relaxed and collegial atmosphere. With their in-person participation to the RTP Potsdam, the EIC Beneficiaries will achieve five important goals:

Pitching their startup in front of top investors of the Berlin-Brandenburg area.
Networking with know-how, sponsors, mentors, investors, and a consortium of the most relevant stakeholders from the regional founder-supporter network.
Gaining an overview of the current startup scene in the Berlin-Brandenburg area.
Identification of successful examples of networking and financing from startups who participated to previous RTP events.
Increasing their probability of success in acquiring capital and sales activities via attending a pitch training workshop organized prior to the event.

For 2024 the RTP application starts on 26.02.2024. Innovative startup teams are invited to send their pitch deck presenting the team, the business idea, and the competitive environment according to a defined scheme till 22.04.2024. The pitch deck will be evaluated by stakeholders from the regional founder-supporter network and the ten most successful teams will be invited to pitch live on stage at the RTP event on 3.06.2024. The selected startups will also attend a free-of-charge pitch training workshop organized two weeks before the RTP event. The non-selected teams can attend the pitch training workshop too, without any costs.
