Rapid Access to the SpaceFounders Acceleration Programme

SpaceFounders France

France

Service ID:

EP44S1
Service description

A three-month bootcamp programme targeting EIC Accelerator beneficiaries. The service aims to help EIC beneficiaries strengthen their strategy to scale within the space industry and create the next generation of European Space Leaders.

The service takes place both in-person and virtually and addresses two topics:

  1. business growth strategy such as management, sales, marketing, human resources, etc. focused on space;
  2. financing (with and without equity). EIC beneficiaries will have access to the SpaceFounder’s community of 150+ mentors and tech investors, 50+ speakers, site visits, networking events and peer workshops. This programme is intensive and personalised for space startups that are ready to scale and take on a Series A.

The cohort will be limited to 10 startups to ensure founders benefit from an intimate environment and will follow a highly selective selection process. EIC Accelerator beneficiaries that meet the admission criteria will be directly admitted into the programme only provided the excellence of the company has been previously demonstrated through EIC application processes. EIC Accelerator beneficiaries should be space companies only and founders or CEO/COO, usually two people per startup are encouraged to participate for maximal effect. The service will have a hybrid approach with two weeks on-site in European spacetech ecosystems, alternatively Toulouse, France, Munich, Germany or Turin, Italy and a demo day, and the rest of the programme can be delivered via distance learning. The service runs twice per year, March to May, and September to November. Co-investment on EIC beneficiaries with EIC Fund is also possible.
