Scale Match is designed as an Investment Matchmaking Event with speed meetings between EIC Transition and EIC Accelerator beneficiaries, on the one hand, and VCs, Corporations, and Partner organisation on the other hand. The event aims to facilitate access of high-tech startups to strategic partners in the South-East European region and to investment opportunities. The targeted verticals are: Fintech, eHealth, or startups that integrate artificial intelligence, and developers of SaaS solutions are eligible if they are in the Market Ready phase and have internationally scalable solutions. Depending on the profile and needs, each startup has at least 3 meetings with relevant VCs and/or commercial partners. The event is organised online, aiming at connecting the EIC beneficiaries to VCs and strategic Partners in the South- East Europe, providing the EIC beneficiaries to present their solutions to regional investors and corporate representatives, to receive feedback and start follow-up discussions on funding. After the selection and prior to the event, on September 14th, the selected EIC beneficiaries will have access to a pitching workshop as a preparation for the event. The event covers several days in order to accommodate the agenda of both strategic partners and EIC beneficiaries and set several meetings. Based on the application, the needs of the EIC beneficiaries in terms of funding, their vertical and also based on the investment thesis or the field of activity of the corporates, several matches will be provided, meaning that EIC beneficiaries will have one-on-one meetings with the respective VCs and corporates. Thus, the event is a great opportunity for those that are seeking fundraising and also for those that want to explore corporate partnerships in SEE region.
