Service description

This service supports teams designing complex digital or hybrid products by structuring user journeys and building iterative prototypes that can be tested and implemented. Units begins with discovery sessions with the product team and stakeholders, then conducts user interviews when relevant. Insights are synthesised into a clear UX and UI architecture, defining roles, flows, and information structure. Units designs and iterates interactive prototypes in Figma, enabling fast feedback cycles and alignment across teams. Motion or micro-interactions can be added when they improve comprehension or usability. The service includes handoff support and integration follow-up so design intent survives implementation. Key deliverables include: (i) UX and UI Architecture (journeys, roles, structure); (ii) Interactive Prototype Set (iterative Figma prototypes); and (iii) Handoff Pack (specs and integration follow-up notes).

Financial requirements

Daily rate: €1,000/day. Typical effort: 25-60 days depending on complexity, interview scope, and iteration cycles. Estimated total: €25,000 to €60,000.

Disclaimer related to service

This service is usually delivered in 4-week phases that can be repeated based on product maturity and iteration needs. Typical engagements run 6 to 12 months, depending on interview access, stakeholder availability, and implementation constraints. Phase goals and deadlines are agreed at kick-off and reviewed at the start of each phase. This service does not include grant writing, proposal drafting, or EU project management. Development work is not included, only design and integration follow-up.
