US Country Manager Services
Provided by US Expansion Partners, Inc. · United StatesService description
US Country Manager Services provides EIC beneficiaries with a dedicated, embedded US operator who runs their American operations on the ground while leadership stays focused on customers and revenue. It is an ongoing engagement, typically structured monthly or annually, and continues for as long as in-market operational leadership is required. The service is directed at EIC Accelerator and EIC Transition awardees and Seal of Excellence holders that have established, or are establishing, a US presence and need experienced local management without hiring a full-time executive; it is sector-agnostic across deep-tech fields, and the main end users are founders and senior leadership. Its goal is to give European companies a trusted, experienced operator who manages the complex web of US stakeholders from within the team, reducing the burden and risk of running the US from thousands of miles away. The Country Manager, an in-house USXP professional, takes responsibility for talent operations, vendor management, accounting oversight, and regulatory and multi-state compliance, and coordinates specialised legal, tax and immigration work delivered through USXP's outsourced partner network. Activities include day-to-day operational management, oversight of payroll and benefits, vendor coordination, compliance monitoring, and regular reporting to leadership. The expected outcome is a professionally managed US operation that runs reliably and compliantly, allowing the founding team to concentrate on growth. Delivery is on an embedded basis, remotely and onsite as needed, in English.
Enrolment in US Launch Services is a prerequisite for this service. Beneficiaries that have completed only partial US setup (such as a US C-corporation or bank account) remain eligible for US Launch Services and can then proceed to Country Manager Services; those already operating a fully established US subsidiary — with payroll, accounting and banking in place — are unlikely to require this service, and an initial scoping call confirms suitability. The service is available year-round on a rolling basis, as either a 12-month service agreement or on a month-to-month basis. EIC awardees and Seal of Excellence holders are offered a complimentary one-hour consultation led directly by USXP's founder and CEO, David Rose, covering any aspect of US market entry for European venture-backed technology companies and sharing practical best practices; the session is advisory rather than a sales discussion and is available exclusively to EIC beneficiaries. Eligible beneficiaries may also access EIC ACCESS+ co-funding of up to 50% of the service cost. Delivery is subject to the availability of USXP operators. Beneficiaries are asked to provide feedback through a quality survey.
