The ESG Readiness Check is a one-day workshop designed for EIC Accelerator beneficiaries, including startups and SMEs from all sectors, to help them assess their ESG maturity and sustainability readiness. The goal of this service is to provide a clear picture of the startup’s position regarding key ESG topics, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder expectations. By identifying the most material ESG issues, startups will be equipped to prioritize action areas that align with their business objectives and create value for stakeholders.
During the workshop, ESG experts facilitate interactive sessions focused on stakeholder mapping, double materiality evaluation, and ESG prioritization.
The workshop also provides detailed insights on regulatory compliance and sustainability disclosure requirements relevant to investors, suppliers, and customers. Following the workshop, startups can access ongoing support to deepen their ESG knowledge, implement tailored strategies, and address long-term sustainability goals. This service is ideal for early-stage companies seeking a quick start to embed ESG principles into their operations.
Deliverables:
• ESG maturity assessment tailored to the startup’s business model.
• Identification of key ESG topics and prioritization of action areas.
• Guidance on stakeholder mapping and double materiality evaluation.
• Overview of regulatory compliance requirements applicable to the startup.
• A customized roadmap for aligning operations with ESG standards.
Implementation:
• Delivered in-person or online by valantic’s in-house ESG advisors.
The one-day workshop, including preparation, facilitation, and post-workshop documentation, is offered as a package rate of €3,000. This rate covers all activities required to deliver a high-quality and impactful workshop experience. For follow-up and ongoing support after the workshop, such as deeper assessments, tailored strategy development, or implementation assistance, valantic offers expert services at a rate of €180/hour. This mixed hourly rate ensures flexibility and allows startups to receive targeted support based on their specific needs and goals. All costs are subject to individual agreements depending on the scope of the required follow-up activities. Discounts, tailored packages, or additional cost reductions may be offered on a case-by-case basis for EIC beneficiaries.
A minimum of two weeks is needed to ensure adequate planning and contracting before the service can be implemented.
