VDI/VDE Innovation + Technology

Germany

Service ID:

EP7S3
Service description
An ongoing six-month mentoring programme service for EIC Pathfinder and Transition beneficiaries. This service aims to give access to VDI/VDE-IT’s technical and business development experts from the targeted sectors: semiconductors and electronic components and systems; artificial intelligence, big data and robotics; clean, connected and autonomous mobility; and business development. The first phase of the programme encompasses assigning the EIC beneficiaries to a matching personal mentor (VDI/VDE-IT staff) who will conduct an initial needs assessment and facilitate access to various technical and business development experts. Based on the identified needs of participating EIC beneficiaries, the assigned mentor will run tailor-made half-day coaching sessions, also resorting to experts. Coaching sessions may be offered in the following categories: implementation of Technical Maturation Plan; product-market fit analysis; business plan development; investor readiness/business model assessment; market entry in Germany; access to German research programmes; matching and introduction to German high-tech VCs; and access to German VC conference (participation fees apply). Registration to the mentorship programme includes initial needs assessment, access to technical and business development experts and to a personal mentor. EIC beneficiaries will have the chance to e-meet and get to know their assigned mentor before signing up to Individual coaching sessions, which will be charged based on daily rates.
