Technology Maturation Services and Due-Diligence
VDI/VDE Innovation + Technology
Service ID:
EP7S2An ongoing tailored service to provide due-diligence to EIC Pathfinder and Transition beneficiaries and facilitate their process of technological maturation. With its 800+ staff of highly-qualified experts from the natural sciences, engineering, social sciences and business management, VDI/VDE-IT is the right partner for EIC Beneficiaries from the Pathfinder and Transition projects (TRL 3 – 6). This service entails due-diligence with technical and market experts from various targeted sectors: semiconductors and electronic components and systems; artificial intelligence, big data and robotics; and clean, connected and autonomous mobility. The experts will facilitate the identification of technical maturity gaps and business model uncertainties and help EIC beneficiaries define pathways for bridging those hurdles. The results of these analyses will be summarised in a standardized innovation and business plan template, including resource and budget estimates, and can serve as a basis for strategic business decisions. In case of need for more long-time mentoring services through experts, EIC Beneficiaries can access additional coaching support from VDI/VDE-IT through another service offer, but having benefited from this service is not a prerequisite to apply for another.
Daily rates of €1120 apply (Standard case: 1-3 days, depending on specific needs). An initial 2-hour needs assessment session for interested EIC beneficiaries is offered free of charge.
The service targets EIC beneficiaries from the Pathfinder and Transition projects, including those receiving grants for the first time.
