VTT

Finland

Service ID:

Service description

Precision is power, and VTT gives startups the tools to measure what matters. Our characterisation services are built for the demands of microelectronics and quantum innovation. From cryogenic testing at 10 millikelvin to mmWave analysis up to 300 GHz, our labs are equipped to validate the most advanced technologies. We offer: Quantum and cryogenic labs, RF & DC electrical testing, Optics and photonics labs (UV to thermal IR), ESA MilliLab for mmWave up to ~300 GHz, and Sensor labs for electronic development. All this is housed in Micronova and Kvanttinova, the largest Nordic cleanroom and quantum R&D hubs. Whether you’re tuning a photonic circuit or benchmarking a quantum processor, we provide the environment, expertise, and flexibility to move fast and scale smart. At VTT, we don’t just test your technology—we help prove its potential. The service involves hands-on measurement campaigns tailored to each project, from initial consultation to final reporting. Outcomes include comprehensive datasets, clear visualizations, and actionable insights that enable clients to make informed decisions about their technology’s next steps.
