Service description

Building on DVRSTY, our multi-year initiative delivered in partnership with FOV Ventures and Meta, WIIT Europe proposes an Investment Readiness service for women-led startups in frontier technologies, including AI, spatial computing, robotics, immersive tech, climate tech, and biotech.

Since 2022, DVRSTY has run three successful editions, supporting female-identified founders through a structured programme combining investor office hours, founder storytelling sessions, and direct mentorship from operators at Google, Meta, and leading European VCs (including BITKRAFT Ventures, Notion Capital, HV Capital, the European Investment Fund, and Seedcamp). Participants have gone on to secure investment, with additional startups still progressing toward funding through relationships formed in the programme.

As an EIC Partner service, we offer:

  • Investor-readiness workshops - pitch coaching, cap table and term sheet literacy, and fundraising strategy tailored to pre-seed and seed-stage founders.
  • Curated investor matchmaking - direct access to a vetted network of VCs and angels actively investing in frontier technologies.
  • Peer learning and mentorship - structured office hours with founders who have successfully raised, alongside operators from major tech companies.
  • Demo day/showcase opportunities - visibility to a global network of investors and industry leaders.

This service directly addresses the persistent underrepresentation of women in founding teams across emerging technology sectors - closing the gap between technical ambition and access to capital, and ensuring EIC-supported innovators can convert deep-tech expertise into fundable, scalable ventures.

Disclaimer related to service

This service is delivered on a rolling, on-demand basis rather than fixed annual cohorts. Cohort start dates and application deadlines will be announced on WIIT Europe's website (wiiteurope.org) and communicated directly to EIC beneficiaries upon request. WIIT Europe aims to confirm cohort dates and onboard EIC beneficiaries within 4–6 weeks of initial inquiry, subject to minimum cohort size and mentor/investor availability. Timelines may vary depending on demand and partner (FOV Ventures, Meta) scheduling. WIIT Europe reserves the right to adjust delivery timelines and will communicate any changes promptly to registered beneficiaries.
