Service description

A six-month programme managed by the EIC Partner’s team in Silicon Valley targeting EIC Transition and EIC Accelerator beneficiaries. The programme aims to support EIC beneficiaries in the ideation and development of a fundraising strategy in Silicon Valley and broader global capital markets. The service will serve to facilitate the identification of technological maturity gaps and business model uncertainties and help EIC beneficiaries define pathways for bridging those hurdles to successfully raise capital to scale their company globally. The first phase will focus on an understanding of what capital markets are like. The focus will be on current capital deployment trends, monster markets, investable technologies, fundraising mechanics, and paths to success. The second phase will take EIC beneficiaries through a series of workshops to design a narrative for a capital raise in Silicon Valley. The EIC beneficiaries will receive help to uncover key unique selling propositions to drive investment results. The third phase will position the EIC beneficiaries’ companies' go-to-market strategy to attract Silicon Valley capital. This will be demonstrated to investors to showcase the EIC beneficiaries’ global ambition and expertise to scale the company. In the final phase, assigned experts will work alongside the EIC beneficiaries for outreach and introductions to the right investors. The EIC Partner will work with the EIC beneficiaries in partnership to pitch angels, Family Offices, Corporate Venture Capital and venture capital firms in Silicon Valley and beyond. The programme is available in Seed through Series C. The service can be conducted online or in a hybrid format with approximately 1 day per week required from EIC beneficiaries.
