Fundraising Strategy & Investor Readiness for Deep-Tech Ventures
Ivoro Ventures
Service ID:
EP374S3This service supports EIC Accelerator beneficiaries preparing to raise Seed or Series A funding rounds by aligning their technical milestones, business narrative, and equity structure with the expectations of institutional investors, including venture capital funds, impact investors, and corporate venture arms. It is designed to strengthen investment readiness and enable effective engagement with investors in deep-tech sectors such as agrifood, biotech, and the bioeconomy. The service is delivered by in-house venture builders and fundraising advisors with direct experience in deep-tech investment, blended finance structures, and EIC co-investment instruments, complemented by external investors and sector specialists where relevant. The engagement begins with the definition of a funding strategy, including a diagnostic of the company’s financial structure, projections, and capital needs, resulting in a tailored approach combining appropriate financing instruments. This is followed by the development of the investor narrative and materials, where the pitch deck is refined, key messaging is structured, and a data room framework is established. In the investor mapping and introduction phase, a targeted list of relevant investors is created based on sector focus, investment thesis, and ticket size, accompanied by support in preparing outreach and initial engagement. The service concludes with due diligence preparation and negotiation support, ensuring the company is ready to respond to investor requirements and approach equity discussions with a clear strategy. Delivered remotely in English, the service enables beneficiaries to become fully prepared for investor engagement, with a robust funding strategy, high-quality investor materials, and an active pipeline of relevant investor contacts, supporting their progression towards successful fundraising and scale-up.
Standard advisory rate: €1,250/day. EIC beneficiaries receive a 20% preferential discount (effective rate: €1,000/day). For full fundraising mandates, a success fee of 3–5% of capital raised may be agreed separately. For selected high-impact deep-tech ventures, partial equity-based compensation can also be considered.
This service does not include active support on EIC proposal writing or assistance with applications to European funding programmes, in accordance with EIC programme guidelines. Engagement subject to initial fit assessment. Success fee terms are defined separately by mutual written agreement prior to mandate initiation.
