Units is a product-culture design studio founded in Paris in 2019. We support founders, startups, and research teams building complex deeptech products by connecting strategy, product design, and brand into one coherent path from early proof to production readiness. Our DNA is tech and product, applied across industries. We have worked with teams like Moon Surgical, Inbrain, Spore.Bio, and baCta, as well as research institutions including CEA, Sorbonne University, ISIR, and Inria. Since 2019, our client portfolio has raised over EUR 415M in total. We align with leadership and R&D, then translate vision into a shared design language and tangible design proofs, such as interfaces, prototypes, renders, narratives, websites, and investor materials. Units operates with small, senior teams across industrial design, UX/UI, brand design, and production craft, and in 2025 we opened an office in China to support manufacturing-oriented work when relevant.
