Bioindustry Park “Silvano Fumero” (Bi.P.ca) is a science and technology park, specialized in Life Sciences and Human Health & Medical Care, established in 1998 and located in the North-West of Italy. Bi.P.ca promotes and develops Life Sciences research and innovation by hosting and supporting companies, start-ups and research institutions, as well as managing the local regional innovation cluster, BioPmed since 2009. Bioindustry Park community ranges from Biotech to Pharma, Diagnostics, Medical devices/MedTech, up to Digital Health actors. The stage of development also varies from early stage up to clinical stage and scale-ups, including three multinational (corporate) companies. Bioindustry Park leverages innovation proving a full range of services tailored to Health & Medical Care spin-off, start-ups and scale-ups, providing both laboratories and facilities in the campus and dedicated scientific and business support services to foster their go-to-market strategy and attract both public and risk capital. Bioindustry Park also acts to boost collaborations and networking with a full range of healthcare actors: academia, public and private hospitals and healthcare providers, research institutions, industrial partners, corporates, science parks and different kind of investors (from Business Angels to Family Offices, Venture Capital and Private Equity or Crowdfunding platforms) both at local and international level. Bioindustry Park is Network Partner of EIT Health, EIT Manufacturing, CEBR and IASP.
