Sting is Sweden's leading startup ecosystem, dedicated to nurturing early-stage companies with a focus on deep tech, sustainability, and impactful business models. Our services include: - Incubation and Acceleration: Tailored programmes offering expert coaching, strategic business development and growth support. - Funding Access: Facilitating connections with venture capitalists, angel investors and public funding sources. - Office Space: Providing collaborative workspaces in central Stockholm. - Coaching: Personalised guidance from experienced entrepreneurs and industry experts. - Networking: Access to a vast network of corporate partners, investors and stakeholders. - Events and Workshops: Regular learning and engagement opportunities to promote innovation. Sting's comprehensive approach ensures startups have the resources and support needed for long-term success.
Startups “pay” Sting a success fee: 2-6% dilutable warrants. Several years later, this might generate returns, which then can co-finance Stings operation. If the company succeeds and is sold or listed, Sting profits, which in turn is used by Sting to support future Sting companies. The warrants can be converted to shares in three years at nominal value. Cash payments are also accepted. Warrants may dilute when the company takes on new investors.
Contracts are signed within a month of programme acceptance.
