Service description

Specialized EIC Beneficiary Services is a programme cohort service offered on a monthly basis to EIC beneficiaries, providing an immersive, continuous developmental path for EIC-funded innovators.

This service integrates hands-on training and personalized mentorship to help startups scale through need-specific pillars. The journey begins with an initial meeting with a dedicated Business Developer to define priorities and strategic next steps, needs and offers. UPTEC assists in the structured growth by supporting capital raising efforts as well as facilitating connections through Investors Day events and Bridging Events, where entrepreneurs engage in one-on-one meetings with investment funds or corporate possible partners/customers.

Technical needs are addressed through facilitated access to the Product Development Lab. Furthermore, innovators benefit from individualized mentoring within the UPTEC network, available on-demand even outside standard School of Startups periods.

The service also includes proactive scouting for soft-landing opportunities, European project collaborations, and potential cascade funding pathways. By combining technical support, fundraising guidance, and networking, this monthly cohort ensures that quality-stamped awardees reach their full commercial potential

Financial requirements

UPTEC’s pricing strategy (2026) is designed to provide EIC beneficiaries with flexible access to a multidisciplinary ecosystem, with costs scaling according to the physical footprint required. While the level of business support remains consistent for all members, the monthly fees (subject to VAT) are as follows:

Virtual Incubation: 95€ / month (for companies requiring no dedicated physical space, but with access to shared facilities).
Coworking: 105€ / month (includes access to hot desks for up to two staff members, and access to all shared facilities).
Startups (Office/Lab): Base rate of 16€ / m². To foster the entry of younger companies, this rate maybe discounted to 13€ / m² (year 1) or 14.5€ / m² (year 2).
Innovation Center or Scaleups (Office/Lab): Base rate of 19.5€ / m². This maybe adjusted to 16.5€ / m² (year 1) and 18€ / m² (year 2).

This phased pricing model is a deliberate strategy to facilitate the entry of disruptive companies, offering preferential conditions that align with the EIC’s goal of supporting innovators at various maturity stages.
